Favorite bottled BBQ sauce

What's your favorite bottled BBQ sauce?

I'm in search of a new one. I want one that is thick and smoky. A little sweet but not very sweet.

Trader Joe’s sriracha garlic bbq sauce.

Stubbs, sweet baby ray’s, sticky fingers? I’m thinking of the ones that I don’t care for as much because I prefer the thinner, mustardy, vinegary, non smoky, not sweet kind!

Sweet Baby Ray’s is our go-to.

Blech. The main ingredient is high fructose corn syrup.

My go-to is Bull’s Eye, chosen by Cooks Country years ago.

KC Masterpiece. Like most it’s a bit metallic out of the bottle but great once it’s been heated.

I like Stubbs. Several varieties.

Bone Suckin' Sauce, which comes in thicker and thinner varieties. Also sweeter and spicier versions, but we usually just get the original variety.

Most of those have high fructose corn syrup as the first ingredient. We like Sticky Fingers, original

Not Stubbs. That’s part of the reason why I really like it and it also has very good flavor.

Amazing fact: a poster who is literate enough to post on DCUM is also able to read labels.

If you like a thicker sweeter sauce, then most of the sauces that fit the bill will contain high fructose corn syrup and thickeners. Even the ones without corn syrup usually have thickeners. I think of them as Kansas City style sauces.

If anyone out there likes thinner mustard based sauces, my favorite is Lillie’s Q Carolina gold.
