How much do you pay for a professional to come decorate your house for Christmas?

After trying to pull my self together this year, I am seriously contemplating hiring out my decorating next year. I would want a wreath and garland on the door, lights on the roof, lights on a tree, and window box decorations for three window boxes. How much do you pay for someone to come out and decorate your house?

I would plan to spend at least a couple grand. Also, make sure to book early. Appointments fill up fast.

$2000 is yes - the entry level for lights only in this area - what you want will be closer to $3500. Appointments this year were filling up by October. This was the year that this type of business became ubiquitous in several neighborhoods.

Which neighborhoods?

OP here. I live in Old Town and I know that many people use professionals. The pressure to get things done before the Scottish Walk parade on the first weekend in December is too much for me.

My teen would come put up lights on your house for 50 bucks.

I would just go on Task Rabbit, tbh.
