What do I do with 2 cups of peeled chestnuts?
Normally we roast them and eat them by the fire. But it seems like I can do something else now that someone has done the hard work |
| You can add them to roast Brussels sprouts, roast beef, risotto, stuffing. I like to eat them raw as a snack, but don’t overdo it due to the tannic acid. Some websites will say not to eat them raw, but I did it all the time as a kid - only 5-6 at a time, and they were one of my favorite snacks. I prefer them raw over roasted. |
