| Can someone please tell me which one to buy? I need to get one and know nothing about them and there’s a lot of options. Thanks! |
| The tweens are my favorite for older kids because some of the OMGs are quite questionable but the tweens are perfect for their lol-barbie-rainbow high mashup families. For younger, my kids liked the Glam Glitter and Lights ones. |
| I bought my 7 year old the lol surprise magic flyer as a Christmas gift. |

If you can figure out if they want the bigger, tween ones or the little surprise ones that come in capsules.
My DD is 8 and only likes the tiny surprise ones and mixes and matches all of their clothes and accessories. Her best friend only likes the tweens and teen ones that are bigger and come in boxes where you can see what you’re getting and have brushable hair and fabric outfits. |
| Thank you! Really helpful. It’s an angel tree gift and I have very little info on the recipient. I went with the tamest OMG doll I could find. |
| my DD used to love them. |
| Is it worth it ? |
| None. They look so trashy. |
I agree that they are trashy, but I buy them as presents for my DD. I was resistant but I decided that she’s actually pretty restrained and buttoned-up in the rest of her life. She wears a uniform to school, has friends who act young for their age, chose a time-consuming extracurricular, reads a lot and doesn’t ask to watch videos or shows. If LOLs are her way of pushing the envelope, I’m ok with that. I enjoy playing with them once in a while, too. It’s really satisfying to mix and match their tiny accessories and line up all their little drink bottles. They’re trashy but also cute! |
