Key fob battery - take to dealership?

Honestly it looks beyond my abilities. Can you take it to the dealership?

When my key fob battery died, I found a YouTube explaining what to do. There is a hidden key in my fob for immediate use. Another YouTube for changing the battery.

No, it is super easy to replace!

Yup, youtube is your solution. It was really easy for both our Toyota and Hyundai key fobs.

You can take it to a dealership parts department. I was at an Acura dealership yesterday and asked them to change a key fob battery. They did it on the spot for $10.

The places that change watch batteries do key fobs too usually. Just have the Youtube video loaded up on your phone to save them some time.

The Youtube videos are great. You can find one for exactly your type of fob. I have changed Tesla, Mercedes, Subaru, Lexus, Acura, etc., myself. You can do it!

It's so easy. I ordered the battery on amazon and watched a YT video specific to my car. You can do it!

It takes 1 minute. You won’t break it. Watch the youtube video.

Pep Boys will sell the battery and install. Watch them and buy the batteries yourself the next time.

The dealer will probably charge you $100 for a $2 battery. You Tube or batteries plus if you have those near you.

Just YouTube it. They don’t make it intuitive but it’s not hard.
