Not only are the food trucks an extreme eyesore, they soil the streets around the capital with debris and all sorts of grease from food. They’ve also been caught filling water jugs from fountains for what is likely suspected use in their trucks!
https://www.reddit.com/r/washingtondc/comments/1517upy/food_truck_using_fountain_water/?share_id=QdHepTy6xeFWV8hMcM6ga The only time I think I’ve ever seen something like that before was traveling in a 3rd world or a developing 2nd world country. It’s really pathetic we have this kind of gutter low behavior and food safety so prevalent around our nation’s capital. All of the food vendors should be banished entirely from around the National Mall already. It’s so trashy and pathetic. Not to mentioned unsanitary. |
| I'm more appalled by the POC vendors selling Trump stuff. I mean, I get they gotta make ends, but they are just perpetuating this man's inexplicable appeal. |
| Yes it is. |

We need Trump back. A return to an America that was great. The country is critically ill from the spastic and mental midget swamp. |

A return to a Mall without food trucks is a return to the days when the ONLY items available were (a) half-smokes from the "roach coaches" or (b) overpriced Smithsonian museum food.
I do wish though that the food trucks had to somehow compete to win a spot on the mall---with the criteria being quality and affordability. |
| I love food truck. I wish there are more of them. A lot more. |

Ever been to New York, Rome, Athens, Moscow, Hong Kong or London? There are all kinds of cleanliness issues in some "first world" cities.
It's not the food trucks and trash that make America 3rd World. It's the attempted coup by insurrectionists, human rights degradation, cult of personality for a politician and the imposition of religion into civil systems. I spent 15 years with an international development organization. For a long time, the US was a model. No longer. It's de-evolving. |
This. I want normal back. Remember normal? |
Ya ok, that was like 4 hours of one day three years ago.
Time for some new material, grandma. |
