Looking for a bakery that sells pre-assembled gingerbread houses to decorate. Any suggestions? Ideally in NW DC or MoCo.
Costco has the house already put together in a kit, just have fun decorating.
As do target and walmart
What part of "bakery" do you not understand? |
Thanks for the suggestions. I’m looking for a bakery option because my family actually likes to eat them! Plus, I’m hoping to find one a bit bigger than the Costco/target option so it can be a group project.

This one is in Alexandria. They’re small houses, but you can order a few and do a village.

Creative Cakes in Silver Spring sells kits but they’re $$$$
I feel like assembling a yummy edible one would be a lot easier than transporting one, OP. If it’s not sort of industrial-grade, it would have such a fail rate when transported that I imagine bakeries avoid it.
I could be wrong, but I thought most gingerbread houses were not edible if they wanted to hold up — like, whatever they do to make them sturdy means they aren’t’ very tasty.

I don't have any suggestions in DC or MD, but if anyone is looking for this in Alexandria, I saw it on MB's Bakery recently.
