Apparently this is a thing?
Like, you don't wear the shirt of the band you're seeing, but a different one? So, if you see The Cure you wear a Joy Division shirt or some shit like that? |
| *wear i mean. Doh. |
| As someone who has been to thousands of rock concerts, I can tell you that nobody cares. Just don't get so drunk you are disruptive to people around you. |
| You stupid |
That is definitely a thing. |
| Yeah that's definitely a thing. Some people think it's wrong to wear the band you're seeing's shirt, but some people don't. That also depends on who you're seeing. Wearing a Taylor Swift shirt to see her is ubiquitous. |
| The most fun I ever had at a concert was going straight from work in a polo and khakis, and spending the night in the mosh pit. No one cared. |
| It's a thing, or used to be, but I've noticed more and more people breaking this "rule." |
Yeah, like the couple who was undressing each other a couple weeks ago. Get a room you are embarrassing yourself. People were taking pictures! |
| My now middle aged indie rock DH has strong opinions about this. He's not going to Taylor Swift obviously (without DD at least!), but would NEVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS wear the band's tshirt to a show. I think it depends on whether you're going to the 9:30 Club or Wolf Trap. |
| I don’t think inquiring minds give a crap about this issue. |
What show? |
| I’ve never heard this. |
|
The bands themselves wear tshirts from other bands.
Op is a poseur. |
Why do they think it is wrong? |
