Where's good to eat Saturday night dinner out near Falls Church nowadays? Or somewhere between Falls Church area and Capitol Hill? Will have a couple vegetarians in the group of six and one gluten free, but otherwise like a wide variety of food and flavors. Two tweens with adventurous palates.
I need to make better notes when I see a good restaurant review since it seems like so many are for suburban restaurants, but then when I'm out in the suburbs I don't remember where to go. |
| Dogwood tavern in Falls Church actually has some decent vegetarian options. Or if you want something fancier Aracosia in McLean is excellent! |

| Lebanese taverna has several locations and has vegetarian options. Not sure how upscale you are looking. SER is more upscale. |
| Thanks all! Don't need upscale at all. We tend to favor hole in the wall places with really good food. |
| Sunflower Cafe! Also, True Food Kitchen at Mosaic, Fava Pot on Lee Hwy, and a bit further but Flower Child at the Boro. |

Busboys and Poets in Shirlington has lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Tweens would love to wander around Shirlington if the adults in the group want to linger over the meal.
Tom Sietsema just wrote a glowing review of Padaek in south Arlington a few weeks ago (Thai/Laotian). That also sounds intriguing! |
