first concert - need black dress shoes

DS will perform in first band concert and needs black dress shoes. He will be standing for the concert so shoes must be comfortable.
Any recommendations for brands or where to buy? |

Unless he's first chair double-bass, "standing" likely means percussion and in the back where literally no one will see him. And a concert is, at best, a 4-hour (with warm-ups) venture and maybe a dress-hearsal. All that to say, don't spend a fortune on dress shoes, if he'll outgrown them. If there might be other opportunities (dances, church events) then, ok, look for a bit more comfort.
DSW will likely have a decent selection and variety of price points. Good luck, though. A first concert is super exciting! Play it loud and proud (unless the score calls for pianissimo).
