| We paid $40,000 to our gestational carrier 5 years ago. She was a repeat GC and also agreed to more than one transfer since our first attempt did not work. I don’t remember exactly what we would have had to pay if there was no pregnancy but it was still a sizable amount. There will be a LOT of other added costs for lawyers, counseling, medical insurance and expenses for the GC and our clinic also added extra fees for surrogacy. |
