Does your highschooler have a purse?

Anonymous
I have been thinking of getting my 9th grader a purse for Christmas. She doesn't have one, but instead has a variety of small backpacks she carriers around or just carries cash in her phone.

Do teenagers use purses anymore, or is this an old lady thing? (I am outing myself as an old lady I guess). Does your highschooler use a purse and if so, what brand/style? She is not into those small-ish fanny pack looking things, which I had also thought of getting her.

Thanks for your input!

She has one, but never uses it.

Same. She does have a small wallet on a lanyard that she uses - but manages to always forget it when we go shopping so I end up paying.

I should add that her grandmother bought it for her

My teen puts anything she needs in her cell phone. She has a backpack she brings to sports and a wristlet or drawstring bag she sometimes takes out socially if she needs to bring pads. She has a purse that was a Christmas gift a few years ago. It was never used.

No, just a Coach wristlet.

lululemon belt bags are really popular, that's what my girl carries.

She's driving, so it's keys, wallet, airpods, lipgloss and phone typically in there. She throws it in her backpacks for school/sports and carries it alone otherwise. This is actually what I've been doing too. Minimum in beltbag, in and out of larger purse as necessary.

No, mine does not. She carries cash & an ID in her phone case. None of her friends use a purse either.

No, my 16 yr old doesn't carry a purse, nor do her friends.

She has this Lululemon wristlet to store her drivers license, credit card, whatever else small.

They do a wristlet or a cross body. No fanny packs in this house.

No purses Lululemon bag. Everywhere bag.

Yes, but not to school. She just started carrying it as a Senior, now that she has a car and job. She didn't want to bring a backpack everywhere, and still needs space for a few extras.
