Justice High School Overdose

Anonymous
I heard the principal at Justice had a weird tweet in response to the kid that died from an overdose. It doesn't seem to be up anymore, does anyone know what the tweet said/showed?

It was a picture of the principal (Tiffany Narcisse) smiling in a hallway holding a coffee cup with a caption along with lines of (this is not verbatim): "Losing a student is always hard, but we will continue the work of educating, moving ahead, and staying positive. #Wolves Strong."

There was a positive reaction from a friend of hers, followed by a string of criticisms that she was being tone-deaf and should spend more time thinking about the student's family and other kids and less time posting smiling pictures of herself.

Did this overdose incident occur on school grounds? This is not clear from the announcement.

Ah, so this explains why someone posted “Twitter principal at it again” in another thread.

It was a picture of the principal with a giant smile, holding a coffee mug that said "blessed" and the tweet said:

"Losing a student is never easy for a building principal. Still smiling. Still standing. Still leading. Still teaching, learning, and growing. #justicestrong"
