AAP referral for 7th grader

We're looking to refer my DS for AAP for next year. He is a 7th grader who last year had level III services but this year is in honors instead of AA. What is the likelihood of him getting in for 8th? Any idea what test scores he needs?

Why? AAP is over after middle school.

As a parent of one who went through AAP and one who went through Gen Ed, I would say don’t bother. It would affect Science, English and Social Studies for one year and the differences in curriculum in 8th grade honestly aren’t worth the effort of completing the referral packet. By HS no one will know or care if your DC moved to AAP for 8th or not.
