| I had some moderate work-life changes that coincided with the time change, shorter/darker days, and colder weather, and I’ve just been in a funk for weeks. I’m not depressed, it’s nothing like that, I think it’s just the lingering stress from the changes has left me sort of listless. But I hate it here and don’t know what to do to emerge. I need to find motivation to get back to my old self. It feels almost like I became stagnant out of necessity as life was stressful while I was transitioning to my new schedule and responsibilities at work, and now I can’t find myself again. Help! |

-Exercise really helps me with winter weather. Try taking a new class like hot barre or yoga, also a good way to meet new people.
-Start a new hobby or take a new class even if it is just something you do once a week. In the past, I've taken cooking classes, tennis clinics, a photography class, spanish classes. Keeping your brain engaged is great for fighting the blues. -make a plan with a friend even if it is something simple like bundling up and going for a walk |

Practice some self-care.
What brings me into a much happier place is a hot 🛀 scented bubble bath. I love to put on a facial mask, light some aroma candles then just lie back + reflect. |

I am supposed to work until 5pm. But since the time change I sneak out at 4:30, go for a walk until 5:30, then rehydrate from 5:30-6pm while doing any work that came in between 4:30-5pm.
This way I am home before it's fully dark, I get an hour of walking and listening to music in, often get to pet some neighbor dogs. |
