Inexplicably nervous; DH’s phone off all day and I can’t reach him

Anonymous
This is not at all like him; he does get very busy at work but his phone is never off. Is there cell connection on the metro, underground? He works in downtown DC and we live in MoCo, on the red line. He had a work happy hour but it’s really not like him not to check in, and he should be home by now. I don’t know any of his co-workers - he usually works from home and only goes into the office once a week.

I’m feeling a little sick to my stomach, but maybe I’m overreacting? WTF do I do? I texted him a few times today and can see that my last delivered text was actually at 6:50am, so his phone may have been off all day. I just emailed him but honestly, am freaking out a bit.

Can you see where his phone last checked in, on Find My Phone? If he turned it on even briefly it would show that location and time.

He is probably going to turn up in an hour or too. Maybe he'll call when he's on his way home and realize then that his phone's been off all day.

If that doesn't happen, and you need to start looking for him, you can drive over to metro and check to see if his car is in the lot. You can go on social media and ping any colleagues he is connected to there. You can show up at his office at 8:30- AM.

I hope it's the first thing. Keep us posted.

We don’t have Find My Phone, which I’m realizing now is really stupid. I literally don’t know any of his co-workers. There are a few different garages as our local metro station, I can go drive around there. Maybe I’ll do that now.

It’s literally on every iPhone, and it works automatically to any phone linked to the cloud. You have it.

He texted - phew. Something was up with his phone. I’m sorry to waste everyone’s time!

Was he with his AP? Another man or woman? Escort?

This would drive me over the edge.

It would drive any rational woman over the edge!
