Microwave with convection and air fry

We have the breville combi and we use it all the times for small things and like a second oven

I never found it worked well. We have an air fryer/convection toaster oven and love it.

I would try to avoid this personally because air fry is just a convection oven, but can it be good to have all that heat near the microwave components?

Same. I'm not adventurous enough to air fry with it yet but the oven/microwave settings are fantastic so far. We use it as a second oven frequently.

Air fry is just the oven setting with a fan. It’s not an adventure, it’s just a heating element and a fan.
