| this is a very common problem for fed employees. it took three months for my insurance to kick in. I called the insurance company and was assured that I would be covered once the paperwork processed. Give them a call. |

| I started a job 3 weeks ago and my medical insurance was effective Dec 1, but vision/ dental not until February. Ask HR what coverage you have. |
