DC is seeing crime spike and carjackings go through the roof, and Maryland is facing a major budget crisis, but NoVa is supposed to get upset about some national retailers w/local outlets seeing a drop in Black Friday sales?

Because Black Friday "sales" are not actual sales, and there's little to no incentive for anyone to buy anything then compared to other times of year.

What is the last new compelling product that apple launched? When everything is an iteration, sales will drop

I didn't see any bigger sales on Black Friday than I did at Veteran's Day or Labor Day or earlier this summer. Sooner or later 30% off IS the price, even if you call it a sale.
