We are looking for a company that could install curtains / drapes in our home including a 2-story family room for a reasonable fee.
Any recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance |
| There is no reasonable where drapes are concerned but I would measure and figure out the drapes yourself (Etsy maybe or fabric store) and then hire a handyman to install rods. |
| Yeah you can choose an inexpensive face fabric, that’s really the only place to save costs. The labor kind of is what it is, at least if you have them made locally. I think these days you can order from abroad but that sounds risky and complicated. |
| I read somewhere that IKEA has good inexpensive options, but don’t have direct experience with them. |
| What is your actual budget? "Reasonable" means nothing. |
| We have tried Next Day Blinds, Blinds to Go and Budget Blinds / best experience was with Budget Blinds. |
Kind of but also not really. They have a linen drape and a cotton one, but they’re unlined. They have a nice tape thing at the top you can use with specialpins to make pleats. Fine for kids rooms and things like that but probably not for a living room. |
+1 Very positive experience with budget blinds for shades, interior shudders and custom drapes. Nobody is cheap, but Budget Blinds does the job well. |
