| I am making chicken soup in the crock pot and realized thirty minutes in that I had slow cooker on low. I think switched to high but wonder if my chicken is now contaminated by being on warm. Thoughts? |

Both the low and high settings ultimately reach the same temperature, it's just that the speed to get there is different. The warm setting, as the name implies, is there to keep food warm as opposed to really cooking it.
You weren't clear whether your crock pot was on low or warm, but either way, your chicken is fine. |
