I have a major craving.... |
Try Hank's Oyster Bar. |
If you want to come to VA, Coastal Flats has a great roll. |
Oh wow. I'm dying to go up to Maine now. Clam Shack in Kennebunkport...mmmmmmm.... |
Okay, not in DC and more of a chain like restaurant (although it's not a chain) but I too was going to say Coastal Flats in Tysons. I'm originally from Baltimore and would have to admit they have awesome crab cakes and the lobster rolls are equally as good. |
Coastal Flats is part of the Great American Restaurants chain. |
YES!!! Love that place! Great place to stop after a walk on the Marginal Way. |
Tacklebox on M St has lobster rolls... not the best, but they'll do in a pinch. |
Has anyone tried the lobster roll at Jetties? They only have them on Saturday and Sunday.
And I think this was discussed on DCUM awhile back, but Maury Povich's daughter is launching the Red Hook Lobster Truck supposedly this month! I'm following them on Twitter because I will totally be stalking them all over town when they finally open. |
Liberty Tree on H Street. |
Kinkead's was recommended on an earlier thread. |
Isn't the Marginal Way in Ogunquit? I'm thinking Barnacle Billy's... |
Another fan of Coastal Flats. I like them in general, but their lobster roll is awesome. (and I will try lobster rolls at pretty much any restaurant that offers them, though I would NOT recommend pizzeria uno's, lol.) Comes with good sides, too.

Another vote for Hank's Oyster Bar. |
Ooh yeah, I was thinking of the Lobster Shack in Perkins Cove, got a little mixed up. In other news, the Lobster Roll Truck says they'll be starting up the week of August 9th! |
