Eye Shadow on Spokesperson?

Am I the only one who finds Karine Jean-Pierre's eyeshadow distracting? As the White House spokesperson, she has many important messages to convey but the only thing I can think of when I see her is that glaring, unflattering eye shadow which overpowers her eyes.

Stop judging other women go back to your hole.

I don’t find it distracting at all. She looks perfectly fine.

Why don’t you listen to her words instead of staring at her face?

I think she looks great. More importantly, she's smart and tough.

She’s cute AND good at her job.

Gee, I wonder what it is you don't like about her.

It's her look. Always has been. And it's fabulous.

Ohhh I see how that works now. Listen to her words....okay I got it.

When she looks down at her papers, it looks like her eyes are still open because of the light eyeshadow.

It might be the only thing I like about her. Very modern eye makeup.

Agree with you. It's like headlight turning off and on.

It isn't though. Very light eyeshadow is not the trend for the nearly 50-year old set. (Even for darker skin).
