Alexandria Mayor Justin M. Wilson (D) will not seek reelection next year, he announced Friday, capping off two terms in which he pushed to embrace urban development and steered the Northern Virginia city through the coronavirus pandemic — and opening up what will likely be a hotly contested primary race in June.

Didn't his fellow council member Aguirre feign sleeping and actually 'snored' during a council meeting about kids mental health/opening schools? He literally mocked kids' mental health at a time when kids in this city were killing themselves due to isolation/pandemic lockdown?

He did and there is video of it on the cities website under archives. Council member Aguirre also said there was no overcrowding of schools and that there were no gangs in the city of alexandria even though there are/were FACTUAL gang shootings and stabbings happening here regularly. The local democrats with their heads in the sand bit is getting really old and quite frankly exceeding embarrassing for us all. It's time for some change.
