Birthday party on Friday Dec 29. Could you make it?

For a variety of reasons, I’m looking at Friday Dec 29 from 6-8 pm for a birthday party for a third grader. Would you be able to attend, or do you have plans/will be out of town?

The guest list is massive. 25 kids. So I’ll be fine if they all cannot make it.

We'd be in town, not every year but this year and most other years.

I think that if people are home, they will come. And because it’s the holiday break they probably are more lax with bedtime. My kid certainly isn’t in bed by 8 on a holiday week.

We'd be away this year. Also, my second grader is in bed by 7. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

That’s my birthday! Sorry, it really sucks. We always go out of town sometime that week but would stay for a party and then leave later. Good luck!

We would come but would definitely be at risk of forgetting. Even if I remembered that the party was on Friday I might not know it was actually Friday, ya know? Don't be shy about reminders.

No, we’re gone. All the kids who are in town will come, though. Nothing else going on!

I think if you are in a middle class neighborhood, you may have high attendance. That is the most expensive week to travel.

For an adult friends party, sure I would make it. For an3rd grader probably. Yawn.
