| I’d really like to make more healthy and varied things at home, but food prep just takes me forever. Is a mini food processor my answer here? If so, any brands to recommend? |

I do really love my mini Cusinart (the one that also has an immersion blender and whisk attachment), but I think you are asking a broader question. What things take you forever and what are you looking to expand into with your cooking? Maybe we can help you with some hacks?

always eager for help! its the chopping - i'm slow and just have lousy knife skills and it takes me forever. wondering if the mini fp would allow me to just take care of onions/herbs and the like super quick |
Can you prep in advance? Like chop onions for the week? You can process them if you aren’t picky about the shape and size. Like some recipes you’d want onions sliced and others chopped or diced. |
| Honestly, OP, you might be better served by a knife skills class. |
+1. I had a friend who is a trained cook show me some basic knife skills and how to cut up and debone a chicken. It's the foundation to everything. And I always get to carve the turkey at Thanksgiving now rather than watch my uncle hack it to shreds. |
| The mini doesn’t hold much and can chop unevenly. I like the larger one better plus it has better accessories. |
