Money's tight this year, and I thought he and I had agreed to just celebrate with dinner out this weekend, when he called to tease me, asking whether I wanted my gift today (our actual anniversary) or wait until our date night. Yikes! He also told me not to check our credit card statement, so of course I did - and there's not a single charge I don't recognize. (Foiled again!) He's a practical joker, so may not have anything, but I want to get something small just in case. I'm heading to Tyson's, but completely clueless - he's mid-40s, doesn't watch/play sports, rarely drinks (got him a bottle of his favorite liquor for Xmas and he hasn't cracked it open yet!), dresses casual for work (so not the cufflinks type), would laugh out loud if I bought him a spa treatment....
Any help? We've talked recently about buying a GPS to start geo-caching with our son, but that seems like a cop-out since we already have been researching them together. Somehow another Simpsons box set doesn't scream "anniversary" to me....
