Restaurant recommendation before Broadway show?

Welcome any recommendations for an early dinner for two in NYC before a show.

We went to Dos Camino Times Square and it worked out perfectly, and my kids and I all thought the food was good.

Which theater? I think it works best to pick a restaurant within a block and a half of the theater so you relax more at dinner.

Johns will have huge lines...I like Friedmans at the Edison and also Serafina..they know how to get you in and out quick before a show.

Friedman’s has singing waiters, we hated it. Just be aware.
