how long does it take to get bloodwork back?

Blood drawn this morning for pregnancy test, in hopes of getting results before the weekend (so that I can stop taking progesterone if it's negative - i'm at 14 DPO now). Is it reasonable to think I'll get results tomorrow?

Was this at an RE? They almost always do stat orders and will call you this afternoon. At just a regular ob, it could be tomorrow, it could be Monday. I'd call and ask.

Annoying. I don't like the front desk staff at the silver spring cap women's care, but I like the doctors so I stay there. Just called and the woman answering the phone said I'd get results monday or tuesday and that there was no reason to try later today b/c impossible results would be in by then. The woman drawing blood yesterday said today or maybe monday. WTH? I'll just call this afternoon and ask to speak with a nurse, although you really have to beg there to do that - definitely an annoying aspect of that practice. The front desk staff tries to answer all questions before even letting you talk with any medical staff, regardless of what you're asking.
