I’m intrigued by this series. I didn’t know much about French history at the time so I’m left a bit confused at some points. Some parts are visually disturbing and I have to look away like when I watched Game of Thrones. Also like GoT there are many different factions to understand (eg, multiple anti-semite groups / mafia / butchers, anarchists, the police, etc. as well as political scandal. I probably lose something having to rely on the subtitles.

Has anyone else watched this? It is currently on Amazon Prime.
