I recently had a smaller version of a snowball on a professional/purchased cookie plate- they were buttery and sort of melted in your mouth. I am not 100 percent sure it even had nuts in it. I have the standard recipe which is basically a 2 cup flour to 1 cup butter ratio. Anyone have a similar cookie recipe that is lighter and less dense than the original? |

What you want is a cornstarch-based cookie. They are also called "melting moments."
This site has the recipe from the back of the Argo cornstarch box: https://bakeitwithlove.com/cornstarch-cookies/ (5 ingredients) And B. Dylan Hollis is always fun: https://www.tiktok.com/@bdylanhollis/video/7114817912673815850 It's a 50 second video, 3 ingredients, and is exactly what you want |

I love his videos. The cookies I had were rolled in powdered sugar, so I will try the bake it with love recipe and report back. I would have never found a cornstarch based cookie on my own. Grazie Mille! |
