Cosi lentil soup, from early 2000's

I used to work near a Cosi from about 2002-2007. They made a tasty (and reasonably priced!) moroccan lentil soup that I loved. I haven't lived or worked near a Cosi in years so I have no idea if it is still on the menu or if it is, whether it is the same recipe.

But I'd love to find a recipe for lentil soup that is like that Cosi version. Anyone remember this soup and know a good copycat recipe? I've googled various moroccan lentil soup recipes and none are quite the spice profile or consistency that I remember.

It is still on the menu at the Cosi in the Bronx. I'll see if I can find out more info for you.
