Two pages or two total work samples?

Anonymous
I’m doing the parent referral and am not clear whether it’s two *pages* of work samples or two work samples total.

Does anyone know?

Thanks!

Two pages, according to our AART

Two pages. Total 6 pages submitted in the package to selection committee. If you have more than two pages of home sample, ask AART to pivk the best two.

If it's a writing sample or similar (kids write large), you can make the pages smaller to fit multiples on 1 page.

Two pages with whatever you put on them, could be tiled reduced pages as a PP suggested but keep it legible.

Does anyone have a link to the form with instructions for work samples from home? I’m looking here but do not see it referenced https://www.fcps.edu/academics/academic-overview/advanced-academic-programs-aap/advanced-academic-program-aap-forms

You just include two work samples. You can add a few lines of explanation, if you'd like. There are no instructions. You can talk to your AART if you have questions.

https://www.fcps.edu/academics/academic-overview/advanced-academic-programs

Scroll down to "Parent or Guardian Materials for Level IV Referrals", Click to open, and you shall see.

How do you submit the packet? Should it be emailed or printed and handed to the AART teacher?

Either is acceptable. Our AART noted that samples will not be returned, so PDF attachments are good if you want to keep those materials.

I'd email so you have a record of submission.

The AART will e-mail confirmation of submission if you submit printed copy. Just fyi.
