Difficult coworker

I’ve been at my current company for 4 years. Got promoted last year and put on a team with a difficult coworker. I am a sr manager. She is an AD. She started a little over a year ago and when I joined the team, she acted like she was my boss. Our boss who we both report to lives in Ohio. Lovely lady. Anyway, this person acted like my boss until I nicely asked her once “Is this what Dana asked us to do?” Then we got a new boss about 5 months ago. In the “meet and greet”, coworker acted like I didn’t work in the group. Ignored me and even went so far as to detail what everyone did but me. New boss noticed-I have known her for years. She addressed it. Coworker said “well I don’t know what she does.” Boss said “then ask her.” It happened again yesterday. In another meeting about a project I am on that I invited another coworker, during the meeting, first coworker kept asking the second coworker (also an AD) what was going on as if again I didn’t exist. WWYD?

Find a new job, either a different part of the company or a completely different company.

Ignore her weirdness. Your boss knows she’s weird, so it’s not going to impact you. Try to avoid interactions with her as much as possible & don’t get annoyed /offended, don’t reward her with any reaction.

Talk to your manager 1:1, give all the examples you gave and get insights on how to move ahead.

Company sounds bad - look for a new job.

Why do you need to do anything here? Speak up for yourself in meetings (why does someone else need to explain your JV description?); continue to do a good job; ignore directives from people who aren’t your boss, etc.
