It seems thicker and lighter in color than the usual marinara sauce.
|
| They were bought by Campbells. |
| I guess Campbell’s company is starting new recipe. |
That’s how it usually goes. They start subbing cheaper ingredients. |
| Noooooo. I just knew they’d ruin it!!!! 😩 |
| There is no new recipe. It’s the same as before. |
Probably you are still getting the older batch. |
| Bummer. This is the only marinara sauce that I genuinely like. Oh well. |
|
I have a bunch from earlier in the year in my pantry.
How long before I should list them on eBay? |
| Nooo |
|
No it’s not the same
I’ve bought several jars No the same thicker and new ingredients makes my husband sweat That’s why I know not same Original Raos this never happened. |
| I like Rao’s, but can’t bring myself to pay $8 for a jar of marinara when other brands are under $2. These aren’t quite as good, but can be doctored up- I usually add red wine and fresh herbs. |
| This was inevitable when they got bought. |
| Rao's is garbage. |
| I’ve switched to Yo Mama’s. We genuinely like it just a bit better than Raos. Still outrageously priced for jarred marinara sauce, but tasty. We don’t eat a ton of pasta, so I’m willing to pay more for it occasionally. I sub it in as pizza sauce too. |
