My daughter will turn 7 this spring, and she's every excited because it's her "golden" birthday (March 7th). She's had a tough year with moving to a new school, friendship hiccups, etc. - and with that plus the "golden" birthday thing, I'd like to plan a fun party. She loves crafts, unicorns/magic, science-y things. We had a "baking experiment party" last year which was great, but that venue closed. I was thinking of a pottery painting party, but am otherwise drawing a blank. Are there any party ideas/venues that you really like for this age? Thanks in advance for any ideas. |
Try red panda |
Where do you live? |
And what the heck is a golden birthday? |
OP here - "golden birthday" is apparently when you turn the age of your birthday date (turning 7 on March 7)? Definitely wasn't a thing when I was growing up!
I'm not in the DC area - we recently relocated to another large metro - but I'm familiar with DC so suggestions like Red Panda are still helpful. |
We have been to a lot of bounce house birthday parties for my first grader, one at a science center, one at a trampoline park, one cat themed party at someone’s house, two crafts themed parties at people’s house, and one paint your own pottery party. All for kids turning 7. |
AR Workshop/Board & Brush was a lot of fun for my 7YO's birthday. I've also wanted to try out Cake Time or Kiln & Custard. |
My 7 yo requested a tea party. It was super cute. |
My DD's 7th birthday was at a pottery making place in Chicago...https://www.kidsclayroom.com/
I don't know where you are located but maybe try to find something like that? It was great, we still have the art she made! |
Ive never heard of golden bday, its called a "Champagne birthday" where I'm from (equally as dumb haha).
I was going to say trampoline park, but I havent tried out any of these painting ones. |
