Hi all,
I am looking for 1 or 2 book series to get for my 7 year old son. He read the dogman/catkid ones and liked them but i am open to other ideas that may not be similar to those. What do/did your kids enjoy at this age? TIA |
| The Kingdom of Wrenly? It's more than 2 but my nearly 8yo DS liked it |

Magic Tree House
Geronimo Stilton |
|
Dragon Masters
How to Train Your Dragon Paddington Bear Wayside Stories Geronimo Stilton Roald Dahl |
| Wings of fire and Harry potter |
| 13 story treehouse! And the 26 story treehouse. And the 39 story treehouse ... |
| Dory Fantasmagory series |
Despite the fact that many kids do read them, Harry Potter is really not appropriate for a 7 year old. Maybe 9-10, but not really for a 7 year old. Obviously people can choose otherwise, but there are situational scenes and topics that some 7 year olds are not ready for. Parents can opt differently, but they should do so knowingly. |

The Prydain series is good for that age.
My son started to enjoy the Encyclopedia Brown books at that age. And the Trapped in a Video Game series. Charlotte's Web |
| Thank you all and please keep it coming! |
| The glutes and the gremlin series |
+1 |
| Tashi series. The Big Book of Tashi…careful though, some stories repeat in subsequent books. |
