| I’m looking for some good options for quick, on-the-go breakfast options that don’t require preparation, refrigeration/heating, and can be eaten quickly as you get out the door, or in a couple minutes in your car/at your desk. |
| bagel and cream cheese |
|
Cream cheese requires refrigeration.
OP I’d probably go with Cliff bars, maybe with some of the more sugary granola ones for variety. |
|
Some kind of bar….. with fruit.
no heating and no refrigeration is limiting. |
| A muffin or croissant. Banana and cereal bar. Trail mix with dried fruit and nuts. Or wake up 10 minutes earlier and have whatever you want. |
Poptarts
|
| I like the Kind Protein Breakfast Bars. |
| Uncrustables |
| Make crustless quiche in a muffin tin (or use silicone). Put in freezer for longer use, refrigerator if a large family who will go through them quickly) |
Unless you leave it on the dashboard in the summer, I would have no worries about cream cheese being out of the refrigerator for a couple of hours. https://www.usdairy.com/news-articles/how-long-can-cheese-sit-out |
Thank you. I posted that and feel the same. |
| I often just stick a slice of cheese and a whole wheat tortilla, wrap it up, and eat it while I’m driving to work |
| Homemade trail mix. I realize this needs a little prep, but you could snack bag 2 weeks worth in one go. |
| No prep at all the morning of? If you can handle a minute of microwaving, I'd say freezer breakfast burritos or breakfast quesadillas. You can even make and freeze breakfast sandwiches, but I think the tortilla is more forgiving than an English muffin or bagel. |

I’m a big fan of two hard boiled eggs. Make ahead, I often shell them ahead and put in a tupperware that fits in a car cupholder.
Otherwise, I vote with the trail mix PP |
