I’d like to get a roof box that fits both a mini van and a Subaru Forester. It needs to fit 4 pairs of skis and would mainly be used for ski trips in the Forester. But, I’d also like to be able to use it for long trips in the Dodge mini van. Any recommendations? Forester also needs crossbars, mini van has them.

Thule boxes at REI. Look at the internal measurements of the box and ensure they will fit your longest skis.

This is not my experience.

Thule and Yakima both have fit guides on their sites.

Outdoorgearlab.com has good reviews.
