| actual dinner or like 4p? |
| I hate the late afternoon time slot. I think we’re doing around 1pm this year. |
| I like it earlier like 3pm. |
|
we aim for 4 and usually eat at like 5:15, ha!
|
then what time will ppl leave? |
| 530 |
| When it’s ready! Usually 3 ish |
| It depends if anyone has to go home the same day, then it's more like a late lunch. |
if late lunch do you do wine etc? |
| 3 pm this year. |
|
4-5 pm.
Late enough that it feels like an actual dinner, with wine, but early enough that we can eat, go for a walk, and then eat lots of pie. Perfect balance. |
| 4 pm |
| 2pm or so. |
| There was a thread on this that got pretty snarky. Like it's dinner so it should be in the evenening, and all that. |
But it's a very traditional meal, so "dinner" should be midday, right? Sorry, not trying to start up another battle. My kids are coming home! I'm in a good mood! When my kids were little, we'd do a midday dinner. Now we do 5 o'clock-ish, so there's time to digest before bed, or have a second round of dinner late at night after the old fart parents have gone to bed. |
