Need Endocrinologist referral

Anonymous
Does anyone see someone they love? I feel like my metabolism has slowed to a snails pace..I exercise regularly and watch what I eat, but losing weight is not happening at all, and if I have a weekend of eating off the strict regimen I gain. I think I would feel better if I consulted with an endo. Nothing may be wrong except I am getting older and fatter, but I just want to make sure since I am so frustrated!

OP...thanks, but anyone in closer to DC?

I went to Dr. Ace Lipson and liked him very much. He was recommended by my internist and one other doctor.

He's in DC.

I work in healthcare and know that there is a Endo at GW who is considered the "God" of Endo - if I remember correctly his last name is Berman? Go on their website under find a physician and look up th endo docs. He is suppose to be amazing and a national speaker!

It seems like most endos I am looking up are interested in diabetes. I definitely don't fit in that category, or in the obesity category either...more of a metabolism issue? Do you mind telling me what Dr. Lipson helped you with?
