any place for local monitoring

Hi,
I plan to go to New York for IVF treatment. I would like to know whether any doctors or clinic can help do the monitoring in the first one week or so before the egg retrieval.

I go to Dominion for monitoring before coming up to NYC the last few days before retrieval. They are very nice; only downside is they no longer do weekend monitoring.

I think CCRM will do outside monitoring too.

If you just need local monitoring, Shady Grove is great since they have so many locations.

I think Shady Grove had stopped doing local monitoring last year, but its possible they have started again. Definitely worth a phone call at least!

At least when I called about a year ago, Shady Grove did not do local monitoring.

At Dominion, I pay between $830-$1000 per visit depending on the labs ordered. My NYC clinic gives me a break on the total cost of the cycle (I’m out of pocket) but I still end up paying more than I would if all my monitoring was at the clinic in NYC.

Just call around though - any clinic should be transparent about the price.

Also, in my experience, you should plan on 2-4 local monitoring appointments before you need to go to NYC.

Dominion. I paid about $400 a day depending on tests. Only get the tests you need through there - try to do as much as you can At labcorp

What? As of August 20th (a Sunday) they did monitoring . . . .
