Dr. DiMattina and treatment that is NOT IVF

I met with Dr. DiMattina today for a second opinion. I have read several mixed reviews on him, but really enjoyed our initial meeting. I don't mind direct and to the point as long as you answer my questions. I am not a the point where I need IVF yet. We've had two miscarriages back to back and are still trying to understand why.

My question is, has anyone had success with DiMattina that didn't involve IVF treatment? Maybe with meds and timed intercourse or IUI? I'm just curious as to what his success rate is in non-IVF patients.

I have done IUI with medication with Dr. Dimattina, the first cycle was a bust but the 2nd resulted in my pregnancy, 22 weeks as of today.

Thanks poster 16:03 and Congrats on the pregnancy! Did you do one IUI per cycle or did he do back to back IUI's?? I'm just wondering what their protocal is for IUI's.

one IUI per cycle, do some RE's do 2?

Yeah, I have some RE's will do two...one at 24 hours, one at 48 hours. It seems like overkill to me but I was just curious. How did DiMattina time yours?

I took the HCG injection at night and had the insemination 2 days later, I don't remember exactly but it was around 40 hrs after trigger, maybe less.
