Just got back from a trip and air travel struck me as so undignified - I have no interest in flying anymore
People look sloppy, even business class is packed in sardine can, terrible food, walking thru security, the harsh lighting everywhere I’m totally over flying |
| No $hit Sherlock. Have you not flown in the past decade? You will not be missed. Stick to Greyhound. Way classier. |
| Beats driving. |
| I would take all of that if only some unwashed minimum way goon wasn't putting their hands all over me. |
Yes, I too miss the good old days on the titanic
|
| As long as you have precheck/clear and a lounge membership, it isn’t that bad. |
+1. We love to travel and hate driving. We have all the credit cards so we get free bags and priority boarding. We have global entry/tsa pre and we also have all of the rental car express pickup perks. It’s really not that bad. It’s a means to an end and way better than driving, if driving is even possible which it isn’t always. |

US air travel is the worst. Airports are dirty, food is overpriced, unhealthy and generally nasty, lounges are packed because almost anyone has access, planes are dirty, flight attendants are rude, and then there are the fellow passengers.
It’s basically just a bus route at this point. |
| I took the train the other day. It was astonishingly pleasant by comparison |
| I loathe flying and only do it when absolutely necessary. It's exactly like a Greyhound bus at this point. Rude TSA agents, rude flight attendants, and revolting looking people in their flip flops and sweats. |
Okay Donna! Enjoy Bethany Beach! |
| It's not a glamorous activity, it's literally just a way to get from one place to the other faster than driving or boating. |
| How did you see business class? There's a curtain between first class and them. |
Your heart will go on 🚢 |
| I’m going to be laughing all day about the “harsh lighting” associated with airplane travel. |
