Flu shot cold coming on?

Woke up feeling pressure in my eyes and like a cold may be developing.
Its likely a cold because our kids are getting over it too (no Covid). I was scheduled to get my flu shot this morning because I’m traveling next week. Should I hold off? I read it could prolong your cold symptoms if you get it while sick. |

| No no no. They will tell you not to get it. I did this and end up with pneumonia. 100% do NOT recommend. |

Do not get it if sick.
I did it once when I forgot a cold was coming. I think it makes it harder to fight the cold. |

| The official guidance and what my doctor says is that it’s fine to get the flu shot as long as you have a fever. A cold isn’t a reason to delay. |
