It’s giving me a nostalgic vibe but I am not sure if it’s just me harping on what boys wore back in the day when I was young. Thoughts on this light puffer? Worth it? Useful in DMV weather? |
| It might be cute for a boy aged 2-6. |
| Sorry, but agree with the PP. This looks like a kid's jacket. I am guessing it isn't that insulated, and probably not that warm. |
| The primary colors make it look young, but the style is great. Maybe different colors for older kid? |
| The style is really in now,and the 70s vibe isn't a problem. And for the person saying it looks like a kid's jacket--it is. And this is a forum for parents of ES kids. |
I thought it WAS a kids' jacket!!!!!!!!!!! no way would i wear that as an adult! |
I look at that photo and think of "Members Only" jackets for men. hahah |
+1. Agree. It's cute. |
Really? It looks NOTHING like a Members Only jacket. |
Ha! Sorry. I came in through Recent Topics and didn't notice the forum, just the title. Thought an adult wanted it to recreate his own childhood. |
Maybe OP is posting in the elementary age kids forum because she’s thinking of this coat for her DS, not her? That’s what I think. |
I said "I look at the photo and think (see???) of "Members only" jackets for men". haha. funny. What is your problem? Members Only jackets were styled exactly the same way but brown fake suede and said "members only" over the breast pocket. You happy now? I LOOK at the photo of this kids' jacket and think (70s/early 80s) of a jacket from a similar era. You ok with that now? |
| Isn’t that a Primary brand jacket? My kids are in their 4th or 5th size of that coat. I think we’ve had every color they make. It’s the perfect weight for all but the coldest days in the DMV. The Patagonia down sweater is 2-3x the cost and not much nicer. |
Also, I live in Arlington and that jacket in a single solid color is very popular at our elementary school with both genders. |
NP. You need to calm down. |
