Anyone have experience to have strong preferences of any of these. We've done Balduccis in the past and it's good, convenient, well-organized. But I'd like to consider other places this year. We get the traditional meal pre-made for the traditionalists in the family. And then cook/prepare a bunch of other stuff for seafood eaters and for vegetarians.
My vote is WF or FM.
We’ve been underwhelmed by past Whole Foods experiences and usually stick to Balduccis.
If you're willing to branch out, we've had very good experiences with Ridgewells.
We’ve actually been underwhelmed by Balducci’s and happier with Wegmans. Cheaper, too!
Popeyes is doing cajun turkeys
We have always been tempted to get one of these! |
We've enjoyed both Fresh Market and Wegmans. No complaints about either.
We're seriously considering it this year. Most places we order from have great sides and terrible turkey, so we're thinking that it couldnt be worse and might be good |
I've been sold in past years on Balducci's turkey breast option. It's not pretty like a whole turkey but I just throw away all the dark meat anyway so
I'm getting smoked turkey legs from Mission Barbeque.
Which of those would you recommend for pies?
We had a perfectly fine and enjoyable Wegmans Thanksgiving. It was super easy.
Wegman's saved my Thanksgiving last year when I got really sick and it was one of the best meals I've had!
I'd get pies at any of these except Whole Foods (no personal experience). I think Balduccis is a bit overpriced for pies - but good! |
