What a traffic nightmare for the locals. |
| This is the biggest boondoggle. |
| Tons of tickets remain unsold |
| I’m excited for this race. |
| i wonder if you can watch it from street w/o ticket |
Because they jacked up the prices for, not just the tickets but hotels, too. F1 is no longer about the sport but about the "seen and be seen" rich party crowd. The real fans who are long time fans and care about the sport are now priced out. Decisions made have caused some long time fans to lose some respect for F1. |

I was really excited for the F1 season this year but the competitive balance is way out of line. Seeing Max win almost every race and wrap up the championship many weeks ago makes this race much less watchable.
|
| Battles for mid-level points and positions are key to F1’s popularity around the world. However, in the US, we are mainly interested in 1st place because that’s how our sports operate. The races this year were never in question and it’s hard to get the US audience to focus and care about a battle for 6th place. |
| It is highly entertaining to me! |
| I doubt it will ever happen again. Too much disruption to the locals and I have to agree w Max that they made it into a spectacle rather than focusing on the sport. |

Netflix brought about a huge American audience due to the series Drive to Survive.
Next to the World Cup, it is the most watched sport in the world. And the races happen several times a year around the world! I think a Vegas street race is a mistake! |
|
| I cannot understand the appeal of this "sport" at all. Like *at all*. |
Good luck. You'll get chased off by security guards/off duty cops. The also put up physical barriers to block views wherever possible. |

We watched riding the escalators. You have no idea of the volume or the speed until you see it up close. It was fantastic being there!
I love it. |
