| Hot take: If you have to mute your veo/trace when posted to families or to your kids's recruiting page, you have either a yelling coach or a yelling parents problem. I see you and your music over your clips. |
| That's why our club puts the camera on the team side and not the parents'. |
| Camera should be placed with the sun behind you, regardless of whether that is the family side or the player side. Recruiting videos should be mute. Period. |
As long as it’s somewhere my kid can try to knock it over, they’re happy |
| Team manager here, we used VEO 1 time, the coaches reviewed the film 1 time and never relayed any info to the players. All that stuff is time consuming. But you get out of it, what you put into it. |
| Our coach is no longer using veo, he is now using trace. How is that trace only provides highlights and not the full game? |
Trace definitely also provides the full game. |
| My kid has been on teams that use Veo, Trace and Hudl. They all have the full game. I think it would be odd to not have the full game for review. |
In the insanity that is youth soccer, reviewing games is one of the few things I find useful (for the team, not me). |
| Uh yeah... we heard some parents talking trash on one recording. Lessons learned. |

Goalkeeper Dad here.
I sort of wish the field goals came with fixed connection such that another veo could be placed behind the goal. Unfortunately, my experience has been that our club has not been consistent with bringing a veo to every game, thus we have missed some of the action. |
