I haven’t gotten it, yet, but our IT guy recommended this one for home use: Shure MOTIV Series MV5C-USB Home-Office Microphone.

Without knowing your budget, a good starting point would be the Shure SM57 with the X2U USB adapter. The package goes for about $200. You will also want a desk stand and the A2WS windscreen. Figure on $250 for everything. But you can spend way more if you want, and there are cheaper options as well.
